We are moving our booking and membership system from SportyHQ to myClubhouse. We believe this will provide an improved member experience.
You can access the new system via my.ktscc.co.uk. We will transfer across all existing details for members and registered pay-and-player users. You do not need to re-register but you will need to set a new password and go through the initial log-in formalities.
We intend to keep the processes and arrangements similar to the current position, but there are some necessary or desired changes that will occur. These are listed below.
What is not going to change includes:
- Booking rights and booking fees
- Membership fees
- Course and class fees for events
Some things that will change as a result of the move are:
- If you choose to share fees with other players this will be automatic – the other players no longer need to do anything
- To receive a refund of court booking fees you will need to cancel 12 hours before the court time (previously you had to cancel by midnight the night before)
- For classes (primarily padel mix-ins) reservations can only be made two weeks in advance. This makes it fairer for new members who may wish to attend the classes (previously we allowed reservations months in advance)
- Also for classes, there will only be a refund on fees if you cancel more than six hours before the event. This should avoid last minute cancellations.
- If you are on a waiting list for classes you will have 12 hours to accept a place if others withdraw. Otherwise the place will be offered to the next person on the waiting list.
- To encourage greater court utilisation (particularly for tennis and squash/racketball) we have made it easier for members of other sections to book the courts for the payment of an appropriate fee. Therefore if you want a few games of a different sport but don’t have the required membership, you can now try it out.
- For the squash and racketball leagues there are some changes to the scoring system but hopefully it does not have a big impact. Simply input the game score and the points will be calculated.
Although there may be short delay before we introduce it, we will offer the ability for members to buy drinks over the bar using their members accounts. Under the new system there will be full visibility of member transactions (booking and bar payments).
We hope members and pay-and-play user find the new system easy to navigate but, as always, we appreciate constructive feedback.
